Possible Resolution

If the event if is temporary, no need to do anything, it will solve out in its own.

If it is permanent, then follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Dismount the corrupted Exchange database and perform the integrity check to find out the inconsistency in the Exchange database, after that run the command ESEUTIL/P to repair the corrupted database.

How to perform integrity Check?

ESEUTIL/G command is used to perform the integrity check on Exchange database and is used to find out the inconsistency in the Exchange database. Syntax of the command is:

ESEUTIL /G name_of_exchange_database.edb

For Example to repair the database having name Exchange Database:

ESEUTIL /G Exchange Database.edb

After that execute the ESEUTIL/P to repair the corrupted Exchange database.

  • Now use Database Recovery Management Tool to gather more info to better understand the issue so that you can resolve it in a proper way. For that at first open EMC >> Toolbox. Here you can found the tool.
  • If the problem is still occurring then make a contact with the support team of Microsoft.
