How to transfer Exchange Server Emails into Gmail Account

In this blog, I am going to answer very general question, i.e. “How to transfer Exchange Emails in to the Gmail”. Follow the easy steps mentioned below to Export your Exchange emails into the Gmail

Export MS Outlook Emails to the Gmail:

  • To Export Outlook mails into the Gmail at first login to your gmail account by entering credential. Then open Setting by clicking on the gear button as shown below:

Now Click on Forwarding and POP/IMAP, and then select the option Enable IMAP and then save changes.

 

After doing the same now open the MS Outlook and click on File >> Info and then Account Settings

  • Now click on the New tab as shown below

  • Make a check on the  option Manually Configure Server Setting or additional server types

  • And then click on Next, In the next window, select Internet Email and then press Next

  • Enter the required Credentials as described below.

  • After that click on More Setting Tab and Choose the tab Outgoing Server and then make a check on My Outlook Server (SMTP) required authentication.

  • After it select the Advance tab and enter the required details as shown below

  • Then click on Next >> Next >> Finish
  • Now create a new folder by right clicking on the Inbox in Outlook, Move the emails into the new folder that you want to transfer in the Exchange.
  • After transferring the mails into the folder, Now drag the folder into the Gmail’s email address appearing in the Outlook

How to Export Emails from Corrupted Exchange Database Files (EDB) to Gmail Accounts

To export Exchange Server messages from corrupted Exchange Database Files (.EDB), the user needs to repair the database via Eseutil and Isinteg inbuilt tools of Exchange Server for database repair & management task.

Or

In case, If the inbuilt tools have failed in their task, then go with the third party solution (but make sure that the tool allows you to export data into PST format too).

Now, after a successful repair task either it has been done by Eseutil/Isinteg or Third Party Recovery Tool. Export the data into a PST file format.
